The Invitation to Supervision The Experience of Community
Weekend Festivities Saturday Night Celebration of Life: We believe in celebrating our culture, gender, gifts, talents, and all other parts of ourselves. Do you sing, dance, write poetry, play with photography, play an instrument, draw, paint, tell a story, read a favorite script, write, invent, or want to share an accomplishment or special interest. We will arrange for displays, readings, performances, photography slide shows, etc. Most of all we encourage you to express your culture by wearing your native dress for the evening. Use style, color, fabric, costume, and any other expression. Everyone’s contribution will make for an evening to remember. Weekend Treats Publications: If you have authored an article or book please bring copies to share or purchase in the Retreat library. Lending Library: We will be setting aside space to share your favorite book, a place to sit and incubate new ideas. Bring a book to share for the weekend in the Lending Library. Book Swap: If you have a book you can let go of, bring it with you and swap for one you haven’t read yet. Bulletin Board: A bulletin board will be available all weekend for messages, requests, notices, etc.
